Ultimate Application Guide
Whether you’re new to press-ons or already obsessed, this guide will help you apply your nails like a pro. Follow each step for a flawless fit and a beautiful, reusable wear.
Step 1
Push Cuticles Back
Start by washing and fully drying your hands. Gently push back your cuticles using a cuticle pusher to create a clean, smooth nail surface. This helps your press-ons sit properly, prevents lifting, and ensures a more natural-looking fit.
Step 2
File Nails
Use a nail file to gently shape the free edge of each natural nail. Smooth out any rough or uneven areas to create a clean edge for the press-ons to bond to. Avoid over-filing—just enough to refine the shape and remove snags. This helps the nails adhere securely and sit flush for a seamless, natural finish.
Step 3
Buff Nails
Gently buff the surface of each nail to remove shine and create a slightly textured base. This helps the adhesive bond better and reduces the chance of lifting. Focus on a light, even buff—avoid over-buffing to protect your natural nails.
Step 4
Wipe Nails
Wipe each nail with an alcohol pad or nail cleanser to remove oils, dust, and residue from filing and buffing. Make sure the nails are fully dry before applying glue or adhesive tabs. A clean surface is key to strong adhesion and long-lasting wear.
Step 5
Apply Nail Glue
Apply a thin, even layer of nail glue to your natural nail, focusing on the center and avoiding the skin around the cuticle. For extra hold, you can also apply a small dot of glue inside the press-on nail. Work one nail at a time to prevent the glue from drying too quickly.
